One of the most popular players in history, Couples has captured 15 PGA Tour events during his 30 year career, including the 1992 Masters. Known for his effortless yet powerful swing, Couples was twice named PGA Tour Player of the Year (1991, 1992) and has been a member of five Ryder Cup teams. In 2009, he captained the U.S. President’s Cup team to a decisive victory over the International squad. Couples’ remarkable 2010 season included a sixth place finish at the Masters and four wins during his first year on the Champions Tour.

In 2011 Fred Couples Captained the US Team to a 19 – 15 victory in the Presidents Cup in Australia.
